A string of robberies has finally ended with the shooting of 2 DeSoto County, Ms. Deputies as they attempted to apprehend the robbery suspect who was shot and killed.
DeSoto County, Ms. Three armed robberies occurred Wednesday evening culminating in the attempted apprehension of the suspect near a Kroger Store in Southaven. Two Deputies from the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office were shot while attempting to arrest the suspect. The suspect died during the shootout. A little Elm Officer was shot when responding to a ‘man with a gun’ call. The suspect barricaded himself in a residence and was found dead hours later.
Little Elm, Tx. Detective Jerry Walker responded to a home on the 1400 block of Turtle Cove Drive after residents reported seeing a man with a long gun at about 3 p.m..

A Pennsylvania State Trooper with a year on the job was murdered by a man with a lengthy record who hated Police officers. When the officer responded to a protection from abuse violation the officer was murdered.
Juniata, Pennsylvania December 29, at about 6:30 P.M. Trooper Landon Weaver, 23 responded to a report of a violation of a court order in the Huntingdon County home. Little was revealed in the original reports other than his murderer was identified as Jason Robison, 32, who was on the run. A Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Deputy is fighting for his life after being shot while responding to a domestic dispute.
At the request of the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office, the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a suspect in a domestic violence situation who shot and wounded a deputy sheriff before being fatally wounded by the injured deputy early this morning. Police responded to shots fired. A female was discovered dead, a suspect was identified and engaged officers in a vehicle pursuit. The suspect shot a 7 year veteran of the Oregon State Police. The suspect was killed in an exchange of gunfire with Officers.

A 61 year old officer was shot in the head and is in critical condition. His assailant was arrested after an armed standoff with authorities.

2 Lavonia Officers were shot while conducting a stop of a stolen vehicle and were both said to have non-life threatening injuries, the suspect is in custody.
Lavonia, Ga. Two Officers performed a traffic stop at about 9:00 P.M. when officers from the Department pulled over a vehicle suspected of being stolen. A Tennessee Trooper was recognized by a person who was pulled over on a routine stop for not having two children seat belted. The foster children had nothing until he came along.
