Utica Police Officers hosted a picnic along with community members for local kids who are returning to school recently.
Officers from the Franklin Ohio Police Department were alerted to a 7 year old child that was attempting to sell his teddy bear for food. They fed him and then helped his siblings as well.
Officer Steve Dunham of the Franklin Ohio Police Department found a 7 year old boy who hadn’t eaten anything for days trying to sell his teddy bear for food on the street near a CVS Store on August 6. The officer spoke with the child and the boy was afraid that he would be in trouble but that was the last thing Officer Dunham wanted for him. As reported by City of Kingman, AZ Police Department A Police Officers wife orchestrated a Back the Blue Ribbon tying event and got over 6,000 blue ribbons tied around their area.
In Arizona one Police Officers wife rallied friends and supporters of the blue to show their support of officers by tying blue ribbons around public areas. 6,000 blue ribbons were put on display everywhere to show Officers that they care. Since 2010 Boston, MA. Police have been handing out “Hoodsie Cups” to kids, recently they upgraded their operation with a new vehicle so that more of the treats can be handed out to children in the community policing effort.

Police and kids in Akron spent a great day for the 10th year in a row together in memory of a fallen officer to provide children who have been victims of/or witnesses to crime and trauma, a fun-filled day free of violence.

Tracy, Ca. Police Officers held a BBQ for members of the Community to show how appreciative that they are for all the support that they have received from the community in the recent past. Two of Richmond Virginia’s finest helped a woman who had no place to go during a storm with her sick dog.
July 27, 2016 Officers Christopher Saunders and Edward Costley of the Richmond Police Department responded to the Salvation Army thrift store to assist a woman who was stranded. When they arrived they found Tunya Bingham, 52 and her sick dog a 15-year-old Lhasa poo. The weather was stormy and Bingham had no place to go. Continue reading “Richmond, VA.
