CONYERS, Ga. What started out as a small act of kindness by Police Officer Chris Burns on September 27, 2015 when he happened upon two elderly people who were down on their luck has started to snowball. A thoughtful gesture by the Officer toward William and Sharon Johnson got some much needed attention by local media outlet 11 Alive Atlanta and has been a blessing to them.
October 19, 2015 In a story here that featured a woman named and her two young children that had been sleeping in the lobby of Butler County’s Jail in Ohio when Deputy Brian Bussell saw them and helped the family out in such a tremendous way we offer a major update.
October 16, 2015 Charlotte-Mecklenburg, N.C. A larceny investigation by Detective Albanese brought him to the home of a 17 year old suspect. When Detective Albanese was inside the suspects home he observed that several of the bedrooms did not have any beds and that the children were sleeping on hardwood floors. It was unacceptable to the Detective and while he had to enforce the law, he still wanted to help pay it forward.
A Local Martial Artist joins the fight for Hoosick Falls Police Department Officer Nick Colaneri. As an update from September 9, 2015 when the WBL reported that a 5 year old little girl named Caidyn Mahan wanted to help Officer Colaneri who has been stricken with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, stage 4 B and set up her own Lemonade stand to give the Officer some cash to help him out. There are others in the community that are joining the fight as well.
Delmar, NY Caidyn Mahan who is 5 years old heard about Officer Nick Colaneri of the Hoosick Falls Police department’s battle with cancer from her parents. The little girl decided she wanted to help and help she did.
