November 9, 2015 On November 8, 2015 An Unknown Police officer from the Temecula Police Department walked into a Payless Shoe Store with a woman who was barefoot. A couple who was inside shopping asked the officer if he was buying her shoes and he said yes. taken with the Officers generosity the couple decided to help the woman as well.

Denver Police Department Helps Navy Vet with Codes Violations

November 9, 2015 According to Corporal Scott Day the Denver Police department has had several calls to a residence over the past month regarding problems. They got to know a resident Day identified only as “Charles” who is a veteran of the U.S. Navy of the Viet Nam era.  Charles has problems with his health and he also has problems with his yard. It are not up to codes. But rather than cite Charles for codes violations, the Denver Police took another form of action.

Lakewood, Co. Police help man and his daughter with a better life

Lakewood, Co. James Schweikhard 41 and his 10 year old daughter recently moved to Lakewood, Co. for opportunities and a fresh start. All that they have fits into th back of his pick up truck and resources for the two of them are little else. They have been living on a day to day existence. School officials were concerned about the safety and welfare of the 10 year old who was enrolled in school there and called the local Police to do a welfare check of the child.

Chicago, Il. Four Chicago Police officers and teen save two men from burning vehicle

November 1, 2015 at about 2:20 am Fifteen-year-old John Sweet heard a loud crash and woke up. Looking out his window he saw a motor vehicle accident and sprang into action. The vehicle was already in flames and he asked his mother where the fire extinguisher was. He called 911 and ran outside with teh fire extinguisher to be met by Police Officers from the City Of Chicago.

New London, Ct. Kids wish injured officer get well and buy him coffee!

October 24, 2015 Officer Anthony Nolan of the New London, Ct. Police Department was injured a few weeks ago and has been recovering from a knee injury. His absence from his regular habits has not gone unnoticed by more than a few people including a brother and sister 8-year-old Malik and 9-year-old Tasha who left him a note attached to his door.

Cedar Park, Texas Officers Justin Gower and Cale Hawkins give a gift instead of a ticket

October 21, 2015 Cedar Park, Tx. When Officer Justin Gower pulled a man who was driving a truck over for an expired registration and malfunctioning light the driver probably thought his already difficult situation was about to get worse. The man has been struggling just to make ends meet and has been working to keep his children fed while living in his car. The man had just enough money to recently move the family to a motel.  Gower remembered hearing about the man from another Officer and recognized the man as soon as he pulled him over.

He also saw another very problematic situation, a  1-year-old, 3-year-old, and 4-year-old little girls weren’t in car seats. The Officer quickly decided to call Officer Hawkins to try and make a difference.

AMES, Ia. Officer Vince helps 5 year old child who wants to get back on his bike!

October 20, 2015 Ames, Ia. When a child has their bike stolen it is always a loss to the child. They look to adults for help. When Fionn Coppoc aged 5 had his bicycle stolen he told his mother that they needed to call the Police. Officer Officer Vince Jr. came to take the report, or so he thought. Fionn began to draw the young Officer a crime scene diagram and the Officer was hooked.

Jonesboro, Ar. Lieutenant John Shipman making a difference in and with the community

October 20, 2015 Jonesboro, Ar. Lt. John Shipman of the Jonesboro Police Department has received some attention as of late for the work he has done in and around his community being a true sheepdog. Law Enforcement Officers approach everyone with a suspicious eye and rightfully so as it becomes a primary survival tool. But Shipman with his years of experience has learned to separate the wolves from the sheep and help those in need.
