Plano, Tx. two men who were on the street saw an officer attempting to make an arrest started filming it expecting to see more police brutality. Instead they rushed to help the officer needing assistance.
Andre Harvey and Kirby Sample were waiting on the street when they saw a Police Officer jump out of his car and grab a man who just ran out of a 7/11 carrying a plastic donation jar full of cash. They did what is becoming very common and started filming it thinking the officer was going to be brutal. A black male who claimed that cooperating with the Police was not in his best interest because he didn’t want a traffic ticket streamed his encounter with Dallas Police on Facebook. If not so serious it would be hilarious.
Dominique Desha Green, 24, claimed he was sitting in a parking lot of an auto parts store deciding what type of part to buy when Dallas Police stopped him for an improper turn signal. A St. Paul man is arrested for filing a false report on Police after a traffic stop where he claimed to be traumatized by Police
On April 11, 2016 A St. Paul man by the name of Franchize Baby McWright, 27, was pulled over for a broken windshield. At the time Officer Finnegan requested the normal information of license, registration and insurance information of McWright. McWright offered his cell phone to Finnegan with the proof of his insurance on that as he had no other means of proving insurance which had a picture of his insurance on it. Oakland Police Department Officials offered the Black Lives Matters protesters a similar BBQ to bring protesters and Officers together like in Wichita that worked out so well, A BLM leader returned the offer by calling officers pigs.
Oakland Police have attempted to assist BLM protesters resolve issues by offering a BBQ as was recently put on by the Wichita Police Department that went so well and helped start a dialog and heal wounds in their community.
