Pennsylvania State Trooper dead responding to domestic suspect dead after manhunt

A Pennsylvania State Trooper with a year on the job was murdered by a man with a lengthy record who hated Police officers. When the officer responded to a protection from abuse violation the officer was murdered.

Juniata, Pennsylvania December 29, at about 6:30 P.M. Trooper Landon Weaver, 23 responded to a report of a violation of a court order in the Huntingdon County home. Little was revealed in the original reports other than his murderer was identified as Jason Robison, 32, who was on the run.

A manhunt started for Robison who had posted many anti-police postings on social media including statements like “the only good cop is a dead cop”

Robison was located this morning after an intense manhunt for him had begun and lasted throughout the night. It ended at about 10:30 A.M. with his death when he refused to surrender and threatened officers on the scene. He was found in a mobile home not far from where he had murdered Trooper Weaver.

Details have not been forthcoming other than he was killed after refusing orders to surrender, that he had threatened more officers and was eventually killed at the scene.
