Sebastian County, Arkansas Update 1 Officer Killed, suspect in custody

Sebastian County, Ar. A Deputy Sheriff has died from the wounds he sustained earlier in the day and a man who barricaded himself f inside a residence ads been captured.

At approximately 7:00 a.m. local time, a 911 call was made by the father of 35-year-old Billy Monroe Jones. Jones had reportedly pulled a gun on his father. Police were dispatched to Jones’ home in Sebastian County, Arkansas, and found him holding a rifle and wearing body armor. Ar. 2 officers shot suspect barricaded

Sebastian County Officers are in a standoff with a man who is suspected of shooting two Sebastian County officers according to the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office.

Police Officers were shot this morning when they engaged Billy Jones according to various acounts.  Jones who has Anti-Police sentiments apparently shot two Police officers and barricaded himself inside a residence near the intersection of Highway 253 and Boone Road around 7:15 a.m.. St. Paul. Man claims Police pull gun on him, it never happened

A St. Paul man is arrested for filing a false report on Police after a traffic stop where he claimed to be traumatized by Police

On April 11, 2016 A St. Paul man by the name of Franchize Baby McWright, 27, was pulled over for a broken windshield. At the time Officer Finnegan requested the normal information of license, registration and insurance information of McWright. McWright offered his cell phone to Finnegan with the proof of his insurance on that as he had no other means of proving insurance which had a picture of his insurance on it. Gladstone, OR. Police Officer Shot, Suspect takes hostage, is eventually captured.

Gladstone, OR. Police Sgt. Pulled over a bicyclist who shot the officer several times then fled to a subway restaurant and took one of the employees hostage. The man was found there and captured after responding Officers shot him.

Monday August 8, 2016 Gladstone, Or. Sgt. Lee Jundt stopped Jeffrey Giddings, 45, on his bicycle near the intersection of West Gloucester Street and Risely Avenue in Gladstone at about 6:30 P.M..  Jundt was struck several times in the chest by gunfire. From the Ohio State Highway Patrol Facebook page they show why you need to move over when passing a Patrol car and why you need to stay in your vehicle when you are pulled over.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol released dash cam footage from an accident that happened in July 2016 to a Sergeant near Chardon, Ohio. The State Highway Patrol issues warnings to motorists to move over when approaching patrol vehicles that have motorists pulled over. Back the Blue – 6,000 Blue Ribbons Tied By Police Wives and supporters in AZ. Event

As reported by City of Kingman, AZ Police Department A Police Officers wife orchestrated a Back the Blue Ribbon tying event and got over 6,000 blue ribbons tied around their area.

In Arizona one Police Officers wife rallied friends and supporters of the blue to show their support of officers by tying blue ribbons around public areas. 6,000 blue ribbons were put on display everywhere to show Officers that they care. Boston Police add an Ice cream Truck to the force upgrading Operation “Hoodsie Cup”

Since 2010 Boston, MA. Police have been handing out “Hoodsie Cups”  to kids, recently they upgraded their operation with a new vehicle so that more of the treats can be handed out to children in the community policing effort.
