Kudos to Deputy Sheriff Jessica Francis!
Deputy Jessica Francis from the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office in Florida contacted Sergeant Rafferty in reference to a stranded friend located in Bucks County. The Family, One of which is a disabled autistic 5 year old girl were stuck at a hotel room in Bensalem, Bucks County. She requested my assistance involving a vehicle repair. I contacted the local dealership and was told it was going to take longer than expected. So Sgt Rafferty went with Plan B! Sgt Rafferty gathered some Deputies from Our Agency along with the assistance from Bensalem Township Sergeant Blickly and Middletown Twp Sgt Kroiss and officer Berry. We decided this little girl drove from Florida to Pennsylvania just to go to Sesame place, and We were going to make it happen. The Bucks County Sheriff’s Office along with the assistance of Bensalem Township Police and Middletown Police transported the family to Sesame Place! Special thank You’s to Deputy Rick Otto, Deputy Matthew Allen, Sgt Blickly, Sgt Kroiss, and Patrolman Berry for your assistance in such a heart warming adventure!
“Blue blood runs deep”, stated Deputy Francis.
