Boise, Idaho at about 11:42 p.m. near Bridlewood Circle and North Glenwood Street, not far from Capital High School officers responded to a call of a shooting incident.
When officers arrived on the scene they were fired upon by a suspect and the responding officer was hit in the chest, he was thankfully wearing his ballistic vest and the bullet did not penetrate it. The officer’s injuries are not considered life threatening. The officer returned fire on the suspect killing him.
After making sure the shooter was no longer a threat, officers found and rescued the male victim from the original shooting call. That person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect and victim of the original shooting did know one another however neither of their names have been released as of this time.
