Flint, MI. Police Officers taking a few minutes to play ball, but that’s just the start

Officers from Flint, Michigan were recently seen playing ball on the street with some kids, but there is more to the story

Flint, Mi. Officers were recently seen taking a break and playing ball on the street with some local area youth on the 900 block of Vermilya Avenue.

The story made local news and they posted some photos of the event. But on further investigation it would seem that the officers may have a hidden agenda.

Flint Police Officers are working on their game since they have an event that they are part of that was being held today.

It was called the “4th annual #Flint3on3 Stop the Silence basketball tournament

The officers had some practice to get in as they posted a video a couple days ago and stated:

One of these teams might be a little rusty, we’ll let you decide which one….

Flint area police departments are teaming up to bring the 4th annual ‪#‎Flint3on3 Stop the Silence basketball tournament to downtown Flint tomorrow, Saturday, June 25. Teams can register at the event between 8am – 9 am. Ages 7 and up are welcome to join this FREE competitive event.

Win or lose it’s all good in the WBL’s opinion, at least the kids will see the Officers as people not just “Cops”
