Orlando, FL. Police Department Saves stolen Puppy

The Orlando Police Department was able to recover a stolen puppy and apprehend two of the suspects immediately and return the puppy.

The Orlando Police Department Posted the following video and story on their Facebook Page: Puppy Heist with a happy ending!

This 16-year-old stole a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix puppy valued at $599. She grabbed the pup and ran out of the store – so did her two male accomplices.

One of the males was secured right away by the manager of the store. The girl ran into the adjacent neighborhood and OPD Patrol, K( and Downtown bikes officers searched the area. Thanks to the help of some astute neighbors, they were directed to the girl, who was hiding in a yard – and the pup, who was cowering in the bushes.

Officer Little recovered the scared pup and returned it to the shop! The two 16-year-olds were arrested for grand theft – a felony. One suspect still at large.
