Mass. State Police give escort to woman in a wheelchair – a simple act of kindness

The Massachusetts State Police held a graduation ceremony of recruits and a woman in a wheel chair was crossing the street when a State Trooper helped her across the road. A bystander snapped a photo of the act and sent it into the State Police to show that the kindness did not go unnoticed.

It was posted on the Massachusetts State Police  Facebook page:

Doing the right thing……

After Friday’s graduation ceremony, Trooper Dan Riopel noticed this woman wheel herself to cross the street. Trooper Riopel offered assistance to her, which she gratefully accepted.

Thanks to an anonymous source for capturing his kind act and sharing it. Kindness is greatly measured when you don’t expect someone to see, or be acknowledged for…..Nice work Dan.
