St. Louis, Mo. Police take 28 to Life group to court. The Basketball court that is.

A group of St. Louis Police Officers who have a team of Basketball players met up with a local community group and played some basketball to foster ties within the community. Accounts of the “Bridge the gap” game reported a great success.

The organization known as 28 to Life that operates in St. Louis, Mo. And Police Officers from the third district met up on the courts of Marquette Park Recreation Center for a basketball game where officers could play against individuals that they would probably never meet unless it was on the job.  Continue reading “St. Louis, Mo. Pima County, Az. Sheriff’s Deputy makes a 4 legged friend

A deputy spotted a large Pitbull just wandering about on the street. While most people may have been intimidated by the fierce stature of the animal and the reputation of its breed Deputy Molchan saw him for what he was. Just a good fella looking for a friend, truly it takes one to know one.

Fort Worth, Tx. Officer Matt Pearce – community rallies as critically injured officer slowly improves

Officer Matt Pearce who was shot multiple times on March 15 is still in critical condition and has suffered setbacks but continues to make improvements. Meanwhile the community rallies to support him in unexpected ways with wonderful results.

Since Officer Pearce was shot on March 15 he has had small signs of improvement overall with a few setbacks including bleeding issues after coughing episodes. Preble County, Oh. Deputy pays for child who was victim of burglary to go to scout camp

After a family was burglarized of their belongings and cash saved to send a child to camp, a deputy paid it forward making an anonymous donation so the child could attend the camp anyway.

In West Alexandria, a small village inside Preble, Ohio a family that had saved money to send their son Ryan Coffey to Boy Scout summer camp was very disappointed when their home was burglarized and the money saved was stolen.  Continue reading “Preble County, Oh. Texas State trooper killed in North Texas car wreck

The department says the 27-year-old trooper lost control of his patrol car late Saturday night in rural Lamar County and died at the scene.

19-year-old woman killed in a car crash Police officer drives her dog 770 miles back home after accident

“We felt we needed to find the dog. We were going to do whatever we needed to do to reunite this dog with this family.” Dothan Police Department Sgt. Whaley investigating officer of fatal motor vehicle accident.

On March 19, 2016 McKenzie Amanda Grace Catron, a University of Arkansas student, was killed in a crash in Dothan, Alabama, while on a spring break trip last weekend. In the vehicle traveling with her was her friend Jessica and beloved dog Kai.

Lumberton, N.C. Police Officer Daniel Dimery helps 17 y.o. victim celebrate her birthday

A 17year old girl who lives with her mother had their house burglarized. The girls birthday presents appeared to be targeted in the break in, but thanks to one Officer the young lady was still able to celebrate her birthday.

March 24, 2016 Lumberton, N.C. the home of April and Drew Drake of Lumberton was burglarized during daylight hours when the two were out. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer shooting update

A Lieutenant of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department was shot in the abdomen after responding to a call of shots fired. The Officer suffered non-life threatening injuries described as superficial due to his ballistic vest.

Breaking news yet another officer has been shot. The war on Law Enforcement continues

A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer has been shot and is headed into surgery, according to press reports.

A  Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer was shot in the Bennington Place subdivision off South Tryon Street in Charlotte. The incident occurred around 10:30 P.M.

There is no information on the number of suspects, the officer’s condition or if anyone was taken into custody at this time. There were approximately 40 Police vehicles at the scene when reporters were attempting to gather information.
