Pima County, Az. Sheriff’s Deputy makes a 4 legged friend

A deputy spotted a large Pitbull just wandering about on the street. While most people may have been intimidated by the fierce stature of the animal and the reputation of its breed Deputy Molchan saw him for what he was. Just a good fella looking for a friend, truly it takes one to know one.

Deputy Donald Molchan came across this lost pup while on patrol near Ajo and Country Club yesterday, and the two quickly became friends!

Deputy Molchan found him wandering alone near a Circle K yesterday, and decided to stop and see if he could help out. It became clear almost immediately that the dog was just a big friendly pup looking for his home. Deputy Molchan described the dog as super friendly, playful and comfortable around people. The dog was also neutered, and was wearing a collar.

After giving the dog some food and water, Deputy Molchan had the dog hop into the front seat of his patrol car, and he drove him safely to the Pima Animal Care Center!

Great work Deputy Molchan!
