Minneapolis, Mn. Police Honor Guard gives strength and spirit to 12 year old

February 22, 2016 Minneapolis, Mn. Police Department Honor guard does what they do best – pays honor and gives strength. After paying tribute to Officer Jason Mozer and laying a brother to rest. The Honor Guard did perhaps what Mozer himself would have done. Instead of consoling themselves or laminating over the loss of a brother they paid the ultimate tribute to him by going to the bedside of a 12 year old girl who is battling for her life against leukemia.

The Honor guard wanted to uplift her spirits although theirs must have been crushed. They were Minneapolis – Fargo – Mozer strong!

From their Facebook page they wrote the following:

After the funeral in Fargo, the MPD Honor Guard visited this little 12 year old at the Sanford Children’s Hospital. She’s battling Leukemia, she’s winning so far but the road ahead will be the test. The giraffe she is holding is from the Honor Guard along with a charm necklace and balloon. She received an MPD patch, jokes and hugs!! What a day ‪#‎OH‬
