On January 30, 2016 Members of the Waterford Police, Connecticut State Police Troop E, Glastonbury Police and Waterford Fire Department gathered to support and honor 8 year old Dorian Murray. Joining the movement #DStrong in a hope to not just fund raise for the cancer stricken child but to support him and help his dream come alive.
Dorian has a cancer that is considered rare known as Rhabdomyolysis. The disease also called rhabdo. His parents have discussed the matter with him and have set up a Facebook page with information as well as a GoFundMe page.
There is also a large social media outpouring for the child as Dorian wishes that before he dies to be famous. The tagline people are using is #DStrong. It has gotten quite the buzz too!

The Waterford Community, Waterford Police and Fire, and Connecticut State Police Troop E came together to support Dorian Murray today at Clark Lane in Waterford. Money was raised, by more importantly, a show of support for this little boy was given.
