Out of money and with no place to go they thought they were on the way to start the New year off bad. Then came along Sgt. Nobel Taylor.

La Vergne, Tn. Police Officers show the true meaning of “the brotherhood” of Blue

January 1, 2015 Nashville, Tenn. La Vergne Police Sgt. Burrel “Chip” Davis, 40 in 2014 was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. In June 2015 his nephrologist felt it was time for Chip to be evaluated for a kidney transplant and it was determined that he was. Dozens of people lined up to be tested to donate a kidney to the Sgt. after his problem became known.

California Highway patrol Officer pays it forward

January 1, 2015 California Highway patrol officer was witnessed doing a good deed while on patrol by Jenn Pattison who posted the following on her facebook wall:

Witnessed this compassionate CHP office pull to the side of the road to say hello to an elderly man shoveling the snow from his driveway. The elderly man told the CHP officer that he was tired but needed to be able to get a wheelchair out of his driveway this afternoon. Without any hesitation this kind CHP officer got out of his vehicle and started clearing the snow from the man’s driveway.
