Conn. Trooper Chris Pariseau helps support 5 year old girl with cancer

January 18, 2016 Salem, Connecticut. There is an adorable 5 year old girl named Brynn Levitsky who has gone through more than what most adults could not handle yet she keeps smiling and laughing. She has battled Leukemia three times now and she is in desperate need of help.Christina Rebelo who is the head of a Parent Teacher organization found out about Brynn’s situation. That the child has had Leukemia, that it has been battled into remission, returned, battled back into remission and how it returned again. She also learned that this time the child is requiring more support from her mother who had to quit her job to take care of Brynn.

The family is suffering financial burdens as well as watching this precious child fight for her life. Rebelo told Trooper Christopher Pariseau about the family and about Brynn. Trooper Pariseau wanted to do something and he wanted to help as much as he could. Together the Trooper and Rebelo discussed options and brainstormed.

They finally came up with the idea that they would go to the existing charity known as Cops For Kids With Cancer. The charity is out of Braintree, Massachusetts and the director is a former Boston Police Superintendent. Trooper Pariseau would make the request for a donation from the charity on Brynn’s behalf.

Many members of the Connecticut State Police became involved apparently as was posted on a facebook page for Brynn and her updates. While she was gifted with the check to help with medical expenses she herself was not able to attend the gathering in her honor. The post reads:

Thank youu!! ♡♡

Brynn had started school and was enjoying a normal life as a child with both her parents working mom as as teacher and dad as a chef, but this dreadful disease has turned this young family’s dream into a nightmare. Brynn had to be pulled out of school because Leukemia attacks the body and the child can not afford to catch any infections at all.

Minor infections can turn fatal to someone who is already battling as this child is. Fortunately the mass that was diagnosed as Brynn’s third cancer has been terminated and she is once again in remission.  She continues with chemotherapy treatments according to the latest post that was made on her Facebook page.

Should you care to make a donation toward Brynn’s cause she has a page devoted to her care located here:
