Bethel Park, Pa. Police respond to EMS call help man then finish shoveling his drive

January 12, 2016 Bethel Park, Pa. Police responded to an emergency call where a man had had suffered a heart attack shoveling snow. After taking life saving measures officers finished shoveling his property for him as an act of good will.

Today BPPD Officers and Tri-Community South EMS responded to a call for an unresponsive male in a driveway with CPR being performed. The patient’s wife advised he had just started shoveling the driveway when she found him on the ground. Officers assisted the Medics and then grabbed shovels and brooms to finish the job. Special thanks to Officer Mincin for rallying the troops (Officer Beer & Officer Gorman) and thanks to the neighbor who came over to help! We wish our resident a speedy recovery.
