On November 29, 2015 in Gwinnett County, Ga. Zanub Rizvi had a motor vehicle accident and Officers from the Gwinnett County Police Department arrived on the scene to do their duty. It is how they treated Zanub Rizvi and her mother in law who are Muslim’s that is getting some viral attention.

Winston-Salem, N.C. Police Officer Kevin Neff replaces charity money that thieves stole – paying it forward

On December 24, 2015 It was reported to the news that Winston-Salem Officer Kevin Neff responded to a theft of a Salvation Army red donation kettle from outside a local Walmart.  The thieves stole the Kettle out the hands of a bell ringer with the Salvation Army and approximately $350.00 was taken.

Charlotte County, Fl. Deputy Luke Adamchik compassion makes him a hero

December 22, 2015 Charlotte County, Fl A motor vehicle accident in the Kings Highway Walmart brought out the best in Deputy Luke Adamchik when he showed the compassion he had for a 78 year old woman who had been pinned by a vehicle that had struck her in a parking lot.

Riverside, Ca. Homeless man who testified in Riverside Officers Homicide gets help for the holiday

From December 24, 2015 Riverside Ca. During a ceremony honoring fallen Riverside, Ca. Police Officer Ryan Patrick Bonaminio who was murdered on November 7, 2010 a homeless man named Stephen McQueen was greeted by Sgt. Debbie Foy in the Church Parking lot where the murder had taken place. It was McQueen who’s testimony helped convict Bonaminio’s murderer.

Pickens County, Ga. Hispanic man claims Deputies racially profiled him for arrest, dash camera footage says different

December 27, 2015 Pickens, County, Ga. A Hispanic man from Fulton County Ga. reported that Deputies from Pickens County racially profiled him and his brothers for arrest back in November of 2014. The Sheriff’s Department has investigated the incident and finally released the dash cam video of the incident which disputes the mans claim.

Owasso, Ok. Complaint on facebook goes viral

December 27, 2015 The Owasso, Ok Police Department received a negative rating from a person on their Facebook page from a motorist who was pulled over. The complaint was written to the Department and replied to by a member of the Department in a timely fashion. It quickly went viral. The post was taken down but was captured prior to being taken down by KOTV and posted on their Facebook page.

Apparently the complainant decided better about making allegations that were not exactly factual.

Hollywood vs. Reality Officer Involved Shootings

In a unique production assisted by the Force Science Institute, law enforcement authorities in an Oregon county have created an online video that explains to civilians the realities of officer-involved shootings and counters prevalent myths fostered by Hollywood fantasies. The video was produced in 2012 but did not receive the widespread viewing that it deserved. It is presented here with full credit going to it’s makers in order to further educate people. Philadelphia, Pa. Police Officers save man on the road during first month on the job

December 26, 2015 Philadelphia, Pa. Police Officers Chris Bleum and James Alderfer just three weeks out of the Academy were working under the supervision of Field Training officer Eugene Donahue on the street when they became involved in a life threatening situation.
