New York City Police Foundation and Bank of America give out more than 5,000 toys to kids

December 24, 2015 N.Y.N.Y. From the Bronx, N.Y. the 47 Precinct invited families to visit Santa’s helpers who happened to be wearing “The Blue” for the second year in a row. Sponsored by the New York City Police Foundation and the Bank Of America on December 19, 2015.

According to NYPD NEWS Inspector Stephenson who is the 47th Precinct Commander said: “The objective here is to ensure when community members come into the station it’s a positive experience, We’re here to serve them.”

The N.Y.P.D. has been working over time through it’s new community policing program to make a difference through the entire City of New York while maintaining it’s Law Enforcement duties and keeping the Citizens of the City safe.

While the Police Department has been under great pressure as other Law Enforcement agencies have through out the United States have been this year with so much negative publicity. Officers from the N.Y.P.D. have stepped up to show their absolute love for children and have not backed away from their duties both on and off duty despite numerous tragedies in 2015.

It is a tribute to every member of the Department that takes the oath to protect and serve that they can put on a Santa’s hat and play helper with children as they can run down the worst of the worst that the City can throw at them day in and day out.
