Medford, Mass Police Officers Paul Giordiano and Sheila Quinn save two infants from burning home

December 21, 2015 Medford, Mass. Twins not yet a year old were saved from a second floor residence that was on fire by Officers who were first to arrive on the scene according to WCVB news.

Carlos Oliveira and Adma Oliveira who are originally from Brazil and do not speak English were tearfully grateful to Officers Paul Giordiano and Sheila Quinn who rescued their two children from the residence that had caught fire.

When the Officers arrived a neighbor alerted them that children were upstairs and the two officers ran to get them out.

“I ran upstairs to the second floor. A female handed me two infants, there was smoke coming from the upstairs apartment, ran downstairs,” Giordiano said.

“He came down the stairs and had both infants — one in arm and the other,” Quinn said

Although Carlos could speak little English he was able to say Thank you so much for that,” “(The police officer) was the hero.”
