N.Y.’s finest for the third year in a row has spread some Christmas cheer with the City’s children that are hospitalized at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital in Queens. Members of the Warrant Squad in Brooklyn North were joined by Mounted and Canine Units who visited the children who enjoyed the company as members of the Department were dressed not only in Uniform but also as Olaf from Frozen and McGruff. They also brought Horses from the mounted unit and K-9’s.

From the N.Y.P.D.’s News page Detective Brienza was quoted as saying

“These children are members of our community and if we can give a bit of our time to brighten their day it is totally worth it to us, After doing it the first year we can’t ever not make the visit again.”

Children received gifts and enjoyed the companionship of the officers as was evident from the photos taken.
