Conway, Ar. Police officers take kids to shop with a cop

Conway Police of Ar. are preparing to take children shopping at a local Wal-Mart with the help of the Martin McDaniel Fraternal Order of Police and donations from patrons who wich to give.

The children who participate will be able to spend some time developing relationships with local officers and buy necessities with the funds that have been gifted by the charitable donations.

Conway Police Department Public Information Officer LaTresha Woodruff was reported by TheCabin.net as saying school guidance counselors and other service agents refer children included in the program. The event is to take place on December 13, 2015.

Anyone wishing to make a donation can write checks payable to Martin McDaniel FOP.

Checks can taken to Pam Sweeney at the police department or mailed to the Conway Police Department, C/O Officer William Fosko, 1105 Prairie Street, Conway, AR 72032.
