Greenville, S.C. Officer helps stranded woman and baby in the rain

October 3, 2015 In South Carolina there has been a 1,000-year rain event that has been ongoing for several days now.  A meteorologist and director of the atmospheric sciences program at the University of Georgia named Dr. Marshall Shepherd, in an email to The Associated Press stated “The flooding is unprecedented and historical,” according to the Weather Channel. But In Greenville Officers continue to do small acts of kindness as part of their daily routine.

As reported by Fox Carolina a woman named Christina Mason Plummer sent in a photo of an Officer from Greenville helping a stranded woman who was carrying a baby in the rain.

Plummer stated: “This lady was walking downtown just now holding her baby and this officer pulled over to get them out of the rain,” Plummer said. “He gave them a ride. Such a pleasant sight to see!! Thank you officer!!”
