September 15, 2015 Goffstown, N.H. A 16 year old High School Student who is stricken with Bone Cancer is being driven by her mother to lunch when they are pulled over. But it doesn’t end as expected.
Two officers of Goffstown are filmed on a Traffic stop of Maddie Carlson and her mother as they were on their way to lunch.
Of course for the 16 year old passenger who is fighting bone cancer it was probably just another inconvenience during her normally trying days.
After the first officer obtains the mothers identification he can be seen walking back and forth on camera and talk to the mother who is sitting in the drivers seat.
He returns her paperwork without a ticket as a camera approaches and another officer appears at the passengers side window. He hands Maddie a check on behalf the Officers Police Benevolent Association.
He tells her “Maddie, on behalf of the Goffstown Police Association we want to give you a check for helping support you guys,” The officers then joke with her about not driving because she doesn’t have a license and Maddie is clearly blown away from the unexpected results of the traffic stop.
The officers tell her it was “all your mothers idea” presumably to it being a surprise how she was to receive the donation.
